We took to the streets of Denver to talk to people about gratitude, connection and joy.

Here's what we asked, we'd love to hear your answers on social media! (Links at the bottom of the page)

  • What brings you joy? Why do you think that is?
  • What do you find most beautiful?
  • When was the last time you felt awe, what towards?
  • What does connection mean to you? When do you feel the most connected?

Cole

We met Cole at Corvus Coffee Roasters where he works as a barista. His break timed out perfectly for us to have a chat on grounding in a new city, and what connection looks like with that change.

"Giving myself the permission to just BE and for that to be enough. Having that love for myself and if I can have that love for myself I don’t see why I can’t have that for another person."

Rachel

We ran into Rachel walking around Smith Lake in Washington Park. We got to discuss her own journey in finding some gratitude and experiences she would love to share with others.

*"*I find gratitude allows joy, letting go, and just the sense that you’re enough. That you are loved, you are enough. That you deserve to be here and deserve all the abundance that the world might bring you."

Graham

We caught Graham outside Union Station at the end of his Denver visit, on his way to head back to Boston. We explored impactful moments from his trip and finding connection at large.

*"*I love getting to travel, just in having conversations with different people, seeing different perspectives, trying to understand where they’re coming from, seeing things as they do. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter if I agree or not, it’s just opening up your mind."

*Apologies for the audio on this one, we were right by the fountains with poor sound isolation.
